THE BOOK! Noble Deeds, Mythic Portraits of the Imperial Court

THE GENESIS OF THIS BOOK unfolded in 2017 with the splendor of an Imperial Court coronation in San Diego. As I started to delve deeper into the world of the Imperial Court System, I had embarked on a personal journey of discovery. The journey was not only an exploration of the individual Courts but also an education in LGBTQ+ history, enriching my understanding and appreciation of the community’s struggles and triumphs. Entranced by the grandeur of the Imperial Court System, and its altruistic ethos, I was on a transformative odyssey that would span seven years, ultimately culminating in a collection of over 600 images, each photograph a tapestry, woven from the threads of fantasy, majesty, and philanthropy. Noble Deeds stands as one of the largest projects I’ve ever undertaken. Its creation has been a labor of love and dedication, requiring countless hours of meticulous illustration and storytelling. It is a homage to the myriad individuals who bolster the Imperial Court System, whose collective efforts breathe life into their noble deeds. Their unwavering dedication is the cornerstone of this institution, and Noble Deeds pays homage to their contributions as part of a larger tapestry of positive change and inclusivity. Author/artist Ben Fink
